The work in a department of the Student Union of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (shortly named ÖH) is voluntary work, however your time is going to be compensated appropriately.
remuneration: 175 euros monthly
time investment: 5-8 hours per week, depending on workload
commencement: 1st of April, 2025
credits: 8 ECTS each semester for members of the ÖH staff
Your tasks
- regular participation at Jour Fixes (once a month)
- be a contact person for exchange students, international students in general and Austria students interested to spend time abroad or get together with an international community
- organise events and excursions (e.g.: dinners, sport activities, ...)
- plan weekend trips for exchange students
- Bring your own ideas!
What should you bring along?
- be communicative
- independent and self-initiative work
- perfect English and preferably German Language skills
- willingness to work in a team
- sense of responsibility and solidarity towards fellow students
- interest in the ÖH, the students and the processes at the university
