Terms of participation

§ 1 General

(1) The organizer of these competitions is the Student Union of the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences (ÖH FH OÖ for short). The competition shall be carried out on the basis of the following conditions of participation. The ÖH FH OÖ is responsible for the organization and processing as well as provision and distribution of prizes.

(2) The University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (FH Oberösterreich), as well as associated companies and faculties, may be involved in the provision or distribution of prizes in individual cases.

§ 2 Eligibility to participate

(1) Participants declare that they have reached the age of 14.

(2) Participants declare that they are students of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.

(3) Participation is not dependent on the purchase of goods or the use of services and the chances of winning are not increased by this.

§ 3 Conduct of the competition

(1) Participation is only possible until Friday, July 2nd at 08:00 a.m.

(2) The winners of these competitions will be drawn at random from all participants. The winners will be notified via the email provided in the participation form.

(3) The determination of the winners will take place under exclusion of the public.

(4) The prizes will be awarded exclusively by representatives of the ÖH FH OÖ at the campus.

§ 4 Acceptance of the prize

(1) If the prize is not accepted by the drawn winners within 14 working days, the claim to the prize shall expire and the prize shall be drawn again by the ÖH FH OÖ among the remaining participants at its own discretion and if time permits. The previously drawn winners are no longer entitled to the prize after expiry of the deadline.

§ 5 Winning

(1) The prize to be raffled is an electric scooter as well as several small goodies.

(2) The prize shall be provided by the ÖH FH OÖ free of charge and cannot be paid out in cash or exchanged for another prize.

(3) The entitlement to the prize cannot be transferred.

§ 6 Disturbances in the course of events; liability

(1) The ÖH FH OÖ has the right to exclude participants from the competitions who manipulate or attempt to manipulate the participation process or the competition and/or who violate the terms. This also applies to participants who make false statements about their person.

§ 7 Final provisions

(1) The lotteries are subject to Austrian law to the exclusion of the conflict of law rules.

(2) Should individual provisions within these terms and conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms.

(3) The participants agree that the data provided may be recorded electronically for the purpose of communicating with interested parties.
